She started life as a PTR A3S from Atlantic Arms, then I threw away the el cheapo forearm, got a nice OD Green lined wide forearm from RTG, and added a Leupold 2-7x33 VX-R. I think this one will be a keeper, much lighter than my previous PTR91F and the welded rail rocks. - AG BTW: The $3 G3 mags at Midway look like they are brand new... |

I really like the quality of the PTR's that i have seen. I wasn't sure of the look of the welded on rail. However, the look is growing on me. Also, the rail being "part of the rifle" i would think that the zero will remain as set for a long time. (depending on the quality of scope used that is.) What forearm did you have? Are you getting a OD green stock as well? |

Plus it is FAR superior to the best of aftermarket mouts, including the MFS one. I'm kinda digging the OD handguard with black stock... what do you think? - AG |

Nice Namibian stock set. What bipod is that? Doesn't quite look like an HK light bipod to me. |
