Does anyone know if an HK93/C93 type will cycle with subsonic 5.56x45mm cartridges?

I didn't know if being blowback instead of DI or Piston would be an advantage in this case.

Thanks for any info on this.

Why bother lobbing those lightweight 5.56 projectiles at subsonic speeds when there are better, more effective options?

Roller locking, fluted chamber, yeah, I know, I have one.  Still essentially still a blowback system.

Works well enough for subsonic pistol calibers.  Maybe I'm showing my ignorance, but that's how we learn.

If you will be satisfied with sub-sonic 5.56 ballistics, consider using a suppressed .22LR

Maybe something in .300 BLK would work?  It'd be an interesting build from a kit anyway.

Are they actually selling these anywhere or are they just prototypes?

.300 blk in an HK type weapon?  seems like a win-win to me.
