[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Preferred sling setup?

I love the single-point to two-point sling I have for my AR (SavvySniper QUAD sling), but both ends of it use HK hooks. Ironically, the hooks don't fit into the standard slot-style sling loops of either the standard or collapsible stocks.

When hog hunting, we're typically walking for several hours across several hundred acres, and the standard leather sling is uncomfortable to say the least.

What's your preferred setup for carrying in a single-point or two-point configuration with one of these things?

Get one of the H&K web combat slings and go to the H&K forums. They have the sling instructions as a sticky. You can carry the rifle several different ways.

As stated, search for the G3 3 point sling. You can back pack it, shoulder across the front etc.

I use the standard HK 3 point web sling on my MP5 SBR.
