| i have a mke 94p thats now an sd and sbr. i want to change the lower safety to a navy style so its easier to use as a lefty. what is the best way to do this? can i buy a clipped and pinned pictogram navy lower and ambi safety and use my current trigger pack? any help the community can offer would be awesome! thanks in advance. |

The Navy trigger group uses a ambi trigger pack (0,1,F). SEF trigger packs (like used on the MKE 94P) and ambi trigger packs as well as selector levers are not interchangable, in other words SEF trigger packs and levers must go into SEF trigger housings, Ambi trigger packs and levers must go into ambi trigger housings. |
| The MKE is converted not to run full auto in a different way than other clones. I would imagine that if you modified your ambi trigger pack to match the MKE's, you could use one. On The MKE a trip lever is removed and a dowel is welded in that prevents the selector from moving to the full auto position. |

so i found a guy who has a navy lower pull off. can i convert it to use in a semi auto? i know ill have to cut the shelf in the grip but what other work am i looking at? atf ok with this if i change out the hammer and sear or something? thanks again!!!! Yes you can convert it for semi use but in addition to cutting the shelf YOU MUST move the sear pin and hole to a different position and weld over the old hole and remove the sear. If you don't you have just made an unregistered machine gun. The MKE pack has a steel block inside the pack so the selector lever cannot move to the third position but the sear pin hole IS in the original position. This info pertains to the fire control pack. You can use any grip frame you like but SEF FCG with SEF grip frame and ambi FCG with ambi grip frame. |
