| I'm thinking of getting the middle child to add to my roller-locked collection (I already have an FMP G3 and a Coharie Arms MP5SFA2 clone). A store near me has one. I checked the bolt gap, fit and finish, and function - all check out ok. My question is: is there anything wrong with them circumferentially welding the trunion to the receiver, other than the fact that it is not how HK does it? |

You can check the bolt gap but unless you put several hundred rounds through it, the gap is not true. I had the chance to hand pick one out of a dozen in stock at a store where a friend used to work. I passed after looking at all of them. My friend said most of the customers who bought one had some complaint later, but It's your money, do what you want. |

Yes, the rails can bend outward away from the trunion and cause the rollers to "lock". This will cause excessive wear on the trunion, rollers, and locking piece. It could lead to a OOB firing. ETA: The one I bought had the receiver bend outward. My trunion has marks from the rollers or the bolt head itself. I had to bend the receiver rails back to where they were supposed to be and reweld. |

I have 4 and all 4 run like well oiled sewing machines even with a post sample h&k trigger pack If they have a test tube have them run 20 rd threw it if it runs buy it I have never welded my rail gaps up and even after doing 100 rd beta mags dumps there is not a problem check bolt gap after 300rd add some + rollers if it runs you have something most c93's drop .05 to .07 on bolt gap and stop after 300rds some don't move at all I have seen the bolt gap be in spec and them not run and I have seen bolt gap out of spec and them not run at all type 07 C2 |
