Well; considering that Hong Kong was a British colony until 1997 and their police forces, specially their Special Duties Units (SDU) were equipped with modern western weapons, including pretty much every MP5 variant out there, from the MP5A4 and A5 to the MP5-PDW and even PSG-1s; it was bound to happen. Maybe one of those Hong Kong SDU-issued MP5A4s ended up on the hands of the PLA and was reverse engineered to manufacture them in bulk. Just my .02 cents.
AFAIK, the Hong Kong SDU was trained by SAS opeartives and equipped with the best weapons out there at the time; not only MP5s, but also M4A1s, SR25s and G-36KVs. |

$2500 huh? Good lord that is as much as I paid for my Dakota Tactical MP5, and there is no way the chinese are building them as well as chopstixx. These apparently have the fun switch.
