I know someone who has one for sale.  I have not heard any good things about these,  but a clone in 45 acp appeals to me.

yea or nay?

I think the regular ones were a little more prone to feed problems. But it might be fine. They eventually made a SW45X that improved the design.

If it's not the SW45X I'd pass.

That is unless you like to pull your hair out and bitch on the internet.

just found out they use modified gg mags.  This is starting to look like a no- go situation.

I don't want to bitch on the internet.  I do enough of that at work.

The SW45X also uses modified GG mags and that's not really a problem. The X version switched over to an MP5/40 receiver with a true integrated magwell as part of the receiver. I think the angle was slightly different as well, which is what helped the feeding.

I'd consider getting one of the X version but have never run across one in person. And it's not a high priority.

I checked with the seller and he says the receiver is marked SW45 A .   Anyone know anything about this model?
He says the receiver looks like a two piece (receiver and magwell)   that was very nicely welded together.
