I recently purchased a MP-5 (SBR) and I am looking for a good carrying case without paying a fortune.
Years ago I saw one that looked like the blackhawk with the side pockets for several mags and a utility pocket, plus shoulder sling and carry handle.
I am sure somebody makes them but have had no luck finding one.
Pictures or links if you have them will be helpful

<shaking head> Son, you need to tell us what configuration your gun is in. If it's a fixed stock vs. a retractable stock then the case dimensions will change significantly.

If you have a retractable stock then you could get away with a UTG case like this:

https://www.gijoesmilitarysurplus.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=871_878&products_id=5493&zenid=30940c454616b18d475f9fe671fd244c

Also, let us know how much money you are willing to spend. I have a couple of tactical cases for carrying mine and they are pretty darn tough. But they were about $80. I keep a retractable stock on mine for transport though so these shorter cases work fine for me.

If you want a solid case, you simply can't beat a Pelican 1700. I recently did a foam cut-out for mine so that I'd be able to haul it on trips without having to worry about anything happening to it. And the 1700 is long enough to take a full length MP5 with a fixed stock.

Another inexpensive case:

Be aware though, that some of these have interior straps with velcro that help hold the weapon in position... so that it won't be sliding around inside the case. I prefer that style. Some of these cheaper ones do not have this feature.

Great quality, but at $77, not sure if that's how much you want to spend.

I have one of these:

I bought mine back in March or so for 14.99 each, but 19.99each is still a great price.  It has a shoulder strap that is not pictured.  They have free shipping for orders over 30.00 too.

You guys are going to laugh at me...

An MP5 w/fixed stock and no mag....wait for it...fits PERFECTLY in a tennis racket case.

I have one made by Eagle bought it a few years back don't know if they still make it. No interior straps, has a holster on the outside for a handgun and 2 pistol mags and 4 MP5 mags. Best thing about it is its made to fit n the outside pocket of my M4 Discreet case, also has a handle if you want to use it seperately. IIRC I paid around ~$100 for it. I sometimes use it for a 14" 870 with a Sage collapsible stock. I remember when I bought it I had seen it in their cataolg and when I was ready to get it it wasn't listed in their current catalog and I called them and they still had them only in Black though.

Eagle makes a nice one.  Made for 9mm sub gun, has 3 pockets on the inside for mags and a large outside pocket. I will get you a pic tomorrow.

Hmmmmm,......expensive gun...cheap case syndrome.  Kinda like buying a Wilson CQB then a Uncle Mikes nylon holster.  ;)

Eagle Industries all the way.  Here is how my H&K rides

If you want to go incognito, here's what I use: a framing nail gun carrying case.

This will work for folding or full stocks!
Go it at a garage sale for $1.50, just tore out it's padding and added egg crate padding.
Stock is a B&T side folder.

I really like the Pelican laptop 1495 case

It's still the most awesome case.  To bad its not made for the full size MP5

Beautiful weapon, case, and layout. But I'm guessing it doesn't really travel exactly like that. None of the accessories in the top part are strapped down in any way. Don't they just fall all over the place when you try to close the thing?

BOT, I finally checked my cases and they are made by Tac Force. They are great, but won't carry a full sized MP5 with fixed stock. I have a retractable stock and I haul along a fixed stock in case I want to switch over. The Tac Force case is built very well and runs about $60-$80. I'll post a picture later.

There is a side pocked on the outside of the case that the A2 stock, tropical forearm, A1 end cap, etc ride in.  The interior of the case when closed only has my Mp-5, and 3 mags in the individual pouches.  All the parts you see in that pic are in my case either in the internal compartment or the exterior pocket

What is the part number for that one?  I can't seem to locate it on their website.

Thanks in advance,

I had a soft case and hated it, so I picked up an SKB hard case from the EE. Cost me $40 FTF. I am very happy with the qaulity, it is on par with Pelican. Keep your eyes peeled for a deal and you will find one. The qaurter is for refrence.
