Looking for some info.
I recently picked up a Special Weapons SW3 and have been able to find very little info one these rifles.
I have found out a bit about the company, some good, some bad.
This rifle, however seems very well put together, H&K and FMP parts with a new receiver
marked, Special Weapons Inc. Grand Haven, MI SW3 cal. 308
The rifle shoots very nicely and does not seem to have any issues.
It came with 2 sets of furniture, I prefer the wood over the green plastic, and a few mags.
Despite what I have read on some forums I am not concerned about the quality as all seems well
and I paid very little for the rifle.
Does anyone know what years these were produced? Any info would be appreciated
Thanks!

I have one of the early century arms HK91 clones that I believe was made by Special weapons and so far it has run without a hiccup.
I hope you also got yours for a good price.

Got it at a very good price.
The previous owner said he had not fired it.
It showed no evidence of it, until I fired it.

Going from memory, SW used to exist somewhere around 10 years ago. They made SW5's and SW3's. I shot one of the SW5 9mm guns a long time ago and it functioned fine.

Special Weapons later became Coharie Arms. Todd Bailey changed the name of his company.
