Should I install the Paddle Mag release on a genuine HK91? Will it decrease the value or increase it?
Second question, Should I have it refinished? The finish on the HK is a coating of some type and my gun has several scratches from shell ejectings and the Scope claw mount. Will it decrease the value if it has been refinished?

If its a real pre-ban, I wouldn't modify it in any way. That weird "rubberish" finish might be hard to duplicate but I'm sure someone out there can...only a factor if you ever plan to sell it. If not, shoot away.
I have a 93 and wish i would have followed through with my plan to get a 91. 5.56 & 7.62 in a common platform. |

Value wise????
If you are keeping this for original and possible value investment then don't do anything to it. If you will be in joying it then, Paddle mag release with trigger job - Bill Springfield contact him he has a package price that will be somewhere around $175-$190. Best money spent bar none. Get a HK21 Charging handle and the American made butt pad. some where in the $75 $85 Life will be grand |
