Shallow end of the pool. Shallow end of the pool? Learn to swim with the big kids. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/montereyjack/07cf2d9b.jpg Ta-ta. .. ..
Shallow end of the color pool. As in no color depth. What are you using there, a pallet of about 8 colors? It's been years since I've seen pictures in 256 colors. These pictures look like they were drawn with crayons. |

You sound like a photoshop expert. This is my first adventure with photoshop so if you don't like the pictures be constructive or don't look . Thanks for the reply. Cheers http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/montereyjack/05a7f2fe.jpg Ok, I'll be constructive. The pictures will look much better if you don't convert them to 256 color. That's 8 bit color, using just one byte of data to represent all available colors renders a picture with the blotchy look like these. If that's the effect that you were going for, then that looks like of cool. If, OTOH, you were wanting them to look high quality, then you'd be using 24 or 32 bit color, or more... which will give you 16.7 million (or more) colors. That way you get all the extensive tones that allow an image to have smooth transitioning effects and look like the real subject. Were you using a digital camera or scanning in some real photos? A scanner can be set up for different color depths as well, which will result in a limited color picture like this. It saves a lot of file size but you lose that realistic imagery at the same time. And while I might have come across as sarcastic in the beginning, I'd like to help you make better pictures for sharing with us. But I'm certainly no Photoshop expert.

Filtered pictures from my files on photo shp , How do I find this larger color selection? Thanks for the tips. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v130/montereyjack/526f9896.jpg Not sure if that's the actual problem and I haven't used photoshop for years. But this photo looks beautiful. Very nice rifle indeed. |
