I ordered a C93 from my PX and it should be here next week. I thought the price was kinda high $900 but looking around it almost seems like the norm. When I get hands on I will post the findings. Since I live in BFE and have my own land with nobody living close to me I will also post the function after I clean it.

Glad to hear! im sure you will enjoy it as much as I have, everyone says that Century builds crap.. not on this rifle, it seems to be pretty well made IMHO. Cant wait to hear what your thoughts are when you get it!

What PX can you order that type of rifle from? Mine seems to only do FN stuff...

I ordered it from the PX at Camp Lejeune NC. On the norm they have been able to get what ever I want.

Where would a good place to get 30 and 40 round mags from?

40 rounders can easily be found from at least 3 different sources for $35 each.

Here it is.  The finish was good. I did a good cleaning and took it out for a spin. I used Wolf ammo first it went bang with a fail to eject I tried five times and had five fail to eject. I then tried SS109 62gr worked like a champ 30 rounds with 2 casings failing to fully eject out of the weapon. I am going to clean it real good and give it another go later. I came with two 40 round mags and a bayonet and a FA bolt carrier. I did not shoot for grouping I just shot for function.

Congrats. Yes, they were built from an HK33 kit so you got the FA carrier that the 33 had. If Century is anything predictable, they are predictably cheap. And that includes not spending the extra money/labor to mill out that carrier to SA configuration.

Please be aware that century seems to NOT be paying too much attention to bolt gap clearance. Your ejection problems are likely to be the result of that. As for wolf ammo, some people have had problems with it others have not. My 93 digests everything I feed it including wolf.

To fix the bolt gap if its out all I should have to do is replace the rollers, is there a how to link that someone can hook me up with?
