Does anyone know where you can locate or how to reliably and legaly modify a G3 mag to 15 rounds.

I have a NJ legal PTR ( damn pinned brake ) but I can't really find mags. HA

Step 1. Insert 15 rds into a 20 rd mag.
Step 2. Locate bottom of follower and go a tiny bit below this.
Step 3. Drill small hole.
Step 4. Insert roll pin.

Thanks....

I guess I should be more specific. I just want to make sure they are batf legal. Not to split hairs but mag blocks and such arent kosher. I know c-prod. "lances" AR mags. I just wanted to know what was recomended. perhapse a welded in bar or something of the sort.

The fool proof way to go about it would be to use steel mags with an internal block - then have the floor plates Tig welded to the bodies.

I can totaly dig the moving..However, I do live at the beach....

Yeah, I am thinking that an internal block of say bent plate steel that was welded to the inside of the mag would work. Of course, I'd be breaking the rules by possesing the 20rd mags in the first place persay. Good think I have a welder!

I was also thinking you could just carefully cut the body, fabricate new Tabs and re attached the floor plate...

i live at the beach too.....and its warm all year

if you have a welder, you could cut down a mag, shorten the spring an equal amount and then put it back together.  would be time consuming and hard to hide the parting line, but would give the Visual impression of a non illegal magazine.  would save on possible questioning.

I still say its better to move
