I was loading some 308 the other day for my PTR and I came across a bag of SABOTS and loaded 40 rounds with 55gr FMJ's in the sabot.

DAMN!  It was like shooting an AR-15 the PTR barley moved and these were at about 3800 FPS   looking for more SABOTS   I GOTA GET ME SOME MORE OF THESE

The mpact on a watermelon was the say the least explosive!

Where did you find the sabots?  I wouldnt mind trying some.   How was the barrel fouling?  Lastly how did you work up a load?

Just search for SABOTS on the web There are a lot of poeple that have them. The load data comes with most of them. No fouling and the accuracy is fantastic. Really shoots like an AR15
