I think it is an MP5KSD.

What is the going price for an MP5 K with an 8 inch suppressor in 9mm?  It is not fully auto, but I assume it can be since the owner has an HK sear for sale which he says can go in it.

Depends on if it an HK or a clone conversion and who did the conversion (Ralph at RDTS, Jason at IGF, Urbach, Dyer etc). My best guess for a semi MP5KSD, providing it was a genuine HK breaks down like this:

1.) HK SP89––$3300-$4500 depending on condition
2.) Conversion to MP5KSD––$1000-$1400 (thats for a HK94 to Mp5SD conversion)
3.) Suppressor––-usually included in the SD conversion
4.) Two Tax Stamps––$400 ($200 each, ione for the Suppressor and one for the short barrel rifle)
5.) Some HK smiths want you to supply the SD locking peice and handgaurds––$150-$250

Total $5000-$6000 for a semi auto. Add about $13,000 for full auto. If you can find an HK smith to work on a clone, both semi and full auto should be about $2000-$3000 less.

Thanks rollin_hot.

If I understand correctly, it is a RDTS conversion (the suppressor has his information and the owner told me to talk to Ralph at RDTS if I have questions about the gun).

Ralph is top notch as far as HK smiths go, super nice and down to earth. He hates email, so calling him is your best bet. He did a rebarrel and refinish on a "toy" of mine and will be doing future work for me. Looks awesome!!

How it looks a year and a half later...going to get a paddle release, restamp to MP5K-N and a touch up SOON....
