[ARCHIVED THREAD] - USC Grease Gun Conversion Mag Well Modification???

Got my Top Notch Conversion stuff for my USC and got my mags too. About to start the conversion but don't want to mess it up. Did any of you guys carve out the mag well for the GG mags on your own? How did you go about it and got any pics?

No pics but I did my own using a file and dremial. It Did not take long.

I have done one with a file dremeel and razor knife. It really isnt that hard to just slow and keep checking your work and it will turn out nice.

Thanks for the replys fellas. I'll be getting to work on it soon. One last question, did you carve out the mag welli with the lower on or off?

Off. a little at time and then reassemble and check your progress. Go back and do it again.
