[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Vector 40 cal Clone

So...I am picking up a Vector model 89 MP5 40 cal Clone. Can anyone tell me more regarding this firearm. Has anyone else picked one up and how did it work for you. Any problems with it? How was Vectors magazine for it. I have seen some factory and some after marked magazines. Are there any other magazines available for this firearm?

Please post any photographs that you might have.

I got one.

Runs fine right out of the box. Put my registered sear in it and brrrrrp!

I use Vector's mags in it- no problem, although I bought a bunch of real HK mags for it too (I'm a mag whore).

I'll probably end up selling it when I get my MK5.....

Where did you get the magazines and what were the prices? How was the fit and finish?

I got mags from Vector and Gordon Miller-- I can't remember the prices but they weren't cheap (at least from GM). They both worked fine in my gun.

Have I told anyone that this carbine have been a blast and with more than 400 round through it without a single FTF/FTE. I have from the wife a forend light and factory mags coming. Now I need to find a scope mount for my EOtech.
