I just picked this up at a Gander Mountain of all places. The finish on it is perfect. If it has been shot, it wasn't very much. Here is a picture of it and with a couple of it's friends. |
Congrats on the new PTR. They are a very nice rifle. You may find you'll want to replace the stock and forend soon enough. That's the older hardbuttpad version stock with no changeout options for the buttpad. It can dig into your shoulder pretty bad. The forend is their non-shielded polymer thin style and doesn't really protect from the heat of the barrel too much. There's some really nice options for these rifle though. The thing is there not so cheap. |

Congrats on the ptr... they're awesome and I love mine to death. huge +1 on the recommendations to get the bill springfield trigger job. It turns the sloppy heavy turd stock trigger into an absolute pleasure to shoot. since noone has mentioned his contact info here it is... [email protected] and his member name here is whatnow |
