Anyone know/have any experience with them?  Good? Bad? Crap shoot? Came across one for a HK G3 clone. My only experience with a HK G3 clone is a CETME I own, which runs 100% so far with SA 308 surplus.  Thanks in advance.

Crap shoot.

DCI (Dan Coonan Ind.) cast, and machined, all of the aluminum receivers used by the different builders of G3 clones ie, Century, FAC, Springfield, etc.  The barrel trunnions are not welded in as with a CETME or HK, but rather epoxied and pinned to the receivers, and for that fact alone they are generally looked down on as substandard.

If I were you, I would spend my $$$ elsewhere

I have never seen a cast aluminum receivered rifle priced such that a couple hundred extra dollars wouldn't get you something closer to the real thing.  In many cases the Springfield Armory cast SAR-8s are sold advertised for almost the same as the Greek stamped SAR-8s which are essentially as good as the real thing.
