I just got a SW45 and while playing around with it I noticed something.
It uses modified GG mags (I think they just weld a stop plate on the back, correct me if I am wrong) and a couple of them fit nice and firm side to side with very little play front to back. The other 5 I have fit with some play side to side, front to back and a little play up and down. The play it fairly minimal, only about 2-3mm measured at the bottom of the magazine, the up and down play is only about 1mm. I'm just wondering which situation is supposed to be more of the norm for best functioning. I guess I'll probably find out when I go out to test fire it but I'd like to know what to expect.
If it helps any I know both of the previous owners and the first (original) owner had no problems with it at all and the second owner had a couple FTEj's with it the last time he took it out.

Also, will a polymer trigger housing be a "drop in" part on this gun? I hate the length of the switch from S to F on the current housing.
And yes, I will be SBR'ing (and likely suppressing) it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

some mags have more play than others.  The mags have the stop plate and also the mags are modified on the feed lips/bolt clearance notch.  Not too hard to do it (bout 5 min per mag).  You will enjoy SBR'ing it. I have enjoyed mine.  Don't know about the housing, but it is a long way from S to F.  Enjoy it.  Mine works flawless.
