I also posted this in the SHOTGUNS forum, but thought I should also post here, since some H&K people might point me in the right direction. I just got this shotguns from a deceased family member, and I have no clue what it is for or anything else about it. It has polished wood checkered stocks, chromed tigger, and chromed bolt and housing. The shotgun is marked: "Benelli Armi Spa Urbino Italy" "KG1.010 CAM 76-18.3".......what is this??????????? "Magnum CAL 12 CL" The receiver is marked "Heckler & Koch INC Chantilly, VA" "Montefeltro Super 90" Any ideas? Where can I look online to find out more about it? All I know is that is a 12 guage semi-auto. It came with another barrel, that is simply longer. Both barrels are smoothbore with chokes installed and a small bead at the muzzle. Is this a 2-3/4" or 3" shogtun? Is this a field or sporting shotgun? THANKS! |

You have an older Benelli Montefeltro 12 ga shotgun. It should have a 24 or 26" barrel and hold five 12 ga shells. It is a sporting or hunting shotgun. The reason why it is maked HK and Benelli is because HK used to be the importer of Benelli shotguns for many years. It is a great shotgun, my uncle has one in 20 gauge. |
