Did Bobcat Weapons stop making this model?? If so, why? What would be my best bet to get a PDW clone for around $1500? Thanks |

These are still available on the net but bobcat says they won't be making them anymore, I don't know if that is now or later that they mean. BTW I might be selling my bobcat package to get into a 93. It is a nice package because I upgraded it with all real HK parts, not POF parts even though they are nice I went with german stuff. I got a whole MP5K bolt and carrier group, SP89 trigger pack and selector, MP5K recoil spring assembly, cocking tube handle, and SP89 rear end cap. The thing runs like the real thing that is 100%. I've put 200 rounds through it then cleaned the hell out of it. I also have a SEF clipped and pinned lower, 3-lug flash hider, and 6 german 30rnd curved mags and 1 15rnd mag. Don't know if I want to sell it but have been thinking about it. Figured I'd tell you cause you are in the market. If you are I'll tally up the cost of what I got into her and form an asking price from there. |
| Andy Bonus told Toad to stick it and said he wont buy from him to make guns. Bobcat BW models are not being made to date from what I heard. Those who have them better hold onto them, there are no more and they keep increasing in value. And the whole running bad thing is the ejector not the extractor spring. You dont have to have Hk parts to make them run good. Not to say that that Hk parts in a Bobcat are not a good thing, just makes the gun cost soooo much more. For what its worth! |

The reason I bought my BW5-FSA recently was the "no more BW guns" rumor. Funny how there still seem to be plenty of the standard (BW5 & BW5-FSA) models in stock. Were the pistol models ever available at all? Toad is running a group buy kind of thing through Allied Armament. They are getting the usual "the guns are ALMOST ready and will ship REAL SOON NOW" BS. I think the guns are about 3 months late now. |
There's a BW89 on GA that's a little cheaper... |
