I don't like the trigger housing in the standard rifle. Could I just buy the 3 shot MP5/HK94 housing with only the selector and transfer the internals from the regular bobcat housing and use the selector that came from the newly purchased housing? I'm looking at getting the MP5 trigger housing from POF.

you are talking a plastic SEF type lower ?

POF has the navy/ambi style, listed as 3 shot burst, and the SEF style.

If you are thinking of going with the Navy/3 shot burst, it is a no go.

I looked into the same process, unfortunately when you are talking ambidextrous, the internal trigger pack is substantially different, all the way down to the actually trigger pack frame.

Was going to try to just swap the necessary parts to make it work, but the scope of changes is such that it makes more sense to just get the ambi / Navy style internals...

But then you have to destroy a Navy trigger pack to make it semi auto only and legal...

sigh....

I just went to the SEF style lower (SUO, actually) and then reused the std trigger internal pack.
You will need a longer selector though.

hope that answered the question

Which lower is on your BW?  The metal SEF, or the plastic FBI?
Or are you talking the actual trigger pack housing itself?

Thanks, I don't have GEICO, but you just saved me a bunch of money.  How about a place where I can get the safe and semi selector like the FS model?
