1. Is there a trick to switching magazines? The magazines seem to need to be inserted just the right way or they bind. I haven't pushed hard to avoid damage but it seems mags want to bind as the mag slids into the well at even a slight angle.

2. I have an old HK video that says the P7 series will fire when the trigger and squeeze cocker are both depressed regardless of the order in which it is done. Is that still true? It doesn't seem to be with my M13. Also, after I try (trigger, then squeeze cocker) the trigger intermittantly remains disconnected even if I cycle the squeeze cocker? Anybody know what is going on?

Thanks

My buddies M13 was broken out of the box,  we were comparing and the M13 wouldnt send the slide home when squezzed, and did some other weird crap.

All said and done he had to pay for shipping and wait a month and a half to get his new pistol back from HK

1. I've not experienced your issue with the mag. I've used my M13 extensively in weapons and training and general use. The mag changes are seemless.

2. If you keep the trigger engaged and work the squeezer it will fire. I've had four P7s (three M8s and one M13) and they have all functioned like that.

They should not bind.  I have one and it is smooth.  Do you have one of the M10 mags?
They will work in either gun so that my be the problem.

Yes, if you depress the trigger and squeeze it will fire.  If you do this without a live round, it will not cycle and will disconnect. You might have a lemon,  I would send it back to HK with the problems you are finding or just call them and talk to their in house tech.

Thanks
