I just got a BW5, and now I'm thinkng that maybe I should got a BW89.  Either one was gonna get SBR'd, but now I'm wondering which of the 2 would be better.

If anyone has an SBR or AOW 5K, does that K grip afford a lot of room for the back of your hand against the magwell?

Maybe I'm missing sumthin here, but...  how could the "back" of your hand be against the mag well?

Sorry for the mix up.  WHat I mean is when holding the K grip, does that part of your hand from your thumb to your wrist hit anything?  I don't have a K, so I've been estimating where it would be on a 94, and the mag hits the bottom( inside) of my wrist.

No more BW89's, but Vector is taking the production for those.  Not sure which will be better, if there's even a difference.

I feel you left arm holding the forearm handle will be almost straight out at a 90 deg angle to the mag well.  So to answer your question, No, you should no have an interferences.  Your wrist however, depending on the size or your hand(if you have dainty women's hands, or brawny manly hands) may just come into comtact with the magwell.  Doesn't feel bad though.

It is too tight for me, just not enough room to make it comfortable. B&T make a forend without a vertical grip, and it makes it very comfortable. The K grip is so close to the pistolgrip, that I really do not like to use it.
Another old trick is to get a vertical grip forend, and cut the grip off leaving the "I can't slip and shoot my hand" front nub.
