My other statements fell of the board but I thought i would finish my testing on the Vector 93 I bought. For a recap, it worked great then statrted jamming with FTEs like crazy, I tried a new ejector and extractor with no luck. Then Rex @ Vector suggested a larger roller as mine was .010" Bolt Gap. I added a +2 roller set and that moved it up to .017" and took it to the range today. 3 Beta mags and numerous 30 rounders (500 rounds) all shot perfect. Not one feeding/ejection issue, but I sure fell bad for the barrel as the finish is GONE! If you have a Vector and are having FTEs (inconsistent brass ejections is a sign also), check your Bolt gap and increase it if needed. Mine runs perfect now and I am very, very happy. ASO544 |

No, I could have (they offered) but figured I would try a couple of things prior to send ing it back. Extractors, Ejectors and Rollers are cheap and I learned alittle along the way about my HKs (only one of mine is a clone). All my other Hks run flawlessly so this was new territory for me regarding working on them. Plus the roller idea was Rex's @ Vector.....and he was right. The only issues I have with the Vector are. 1. I think the metal in the receiver is softer than a factory HK. I had some jams that deformed the ejection port slightly. Nothing the effects function and the damage is very slight and barely visible. 2. The ledge that the housing sits on seems to be lower tan a factory HK as my housings have slight play and I had to shim it for proper ejector function. My HKs are tight and at the proper height. 3. Don't believe the finish is as tough as a factory HK. My barrel finish bubbled off real quick. Overall it is a damn fine rifle and looks great, and as of now it shoots great. For 1/2 to 1/3 the price, it is a great sear host to shoot the living $&*@ out of. Vector answered all my emails and their help was great. I will probably be buying a V53 and a V51. ASO544 |

I have a V53 and has run perfect right out of the box not one ftf or fte I have put atleast 3000 rds thru it! the sights were right on the money I also switch the navy lower out with an sef and it's just keeps going the mags fit perfect and the finish is excellent I would buy another in a second! I'm on the list to get the .357 sig as soon as the are ready cant wait ! vector is a+ in my book . |
