Does anyone know what process is utilized by SW and/or Bobcat to "tighten" the magwell on the SW5 or BW5?  What other problems have been encountered specifically on the stamped receiver  SW5FS and how were they corrected?

Dont take my exact word, but I was told they use a mandrel shaped like a mag that is solid steel or alloy.  After they insert it in the magwell, they lightly tap and shape the magwell with another tool like a rubber mallet and soft punch.  Dont try it yourself!  Call and ask them, they will offer help.  Or call protech-engineering (.com).

Toad will describe a process where they will weld a bead in the magwell that will tighten it up.  They have always have issues with the receiver being out of spec.  Look inside the magwell and I bet you see a weld inside.
