What do you all think about this thing? I bought one, inexpensive 9mm HK type rifle. I know clones have a tendancy to have some teething/break-in problems but I'm excited.

The pics are up on the Special Weapons web site.

Opinions? Good, Bad, Ugly(cool), or Ugly(well just ugly, I guess).

Not a lot of hope there, huh??? hehehe

The gun looks sort of cool, but that big ass tumor on the forend looks stupid Why does the foregrip area drop down soo far?, I think they should have made it like the UMP type foredn..

These guys on the internet say most of this SW stuff doesn't work, as I have never seen one I have no opinion, please do not sue me Toad.

So they are back to using "Special Weapons" eh? Must be a different corporation than the first one, which was what, 3 or 4 companies ago?

If you ask on Full-Auto.com SteyrAug and GarryOwen know all about Todd's various companies and guns.

The lump on the foreend is the built in mount for a surefire light. They also claim that the extra plastic/space keeps the fore end cooler during extended fire. When I get mine I plan on running some fmj and jhp thru it to function test it. Believe me if it don't work you'll hear about it!!hock.gifhock.gifhock.gif
This rifle is more than 6 months late being produced and delivered, I don't know if SW is directly selling any more of their own products, I think they are being "licenced" out to others (Bobcat) for sale to the public.
FWIW- I've read alot about Todds dealing and his rep, If the gun works as advertised, him and I will get along just fine.

Bobcat's Todd, or a family member or something, I think.
