HK91!!!!!

Well after trying a Hexxe 91 clone, that cycled fine but had a bent barrel. I got a Portugese FMPG3S. Well it shot better but had cycling issues. It would extract but not eject, not all of the time, but I couldn`t got a day at the range without it happening. I would like to know for the knowing sake why it did that if anyone knows.

Anyway the gun dealer who I got the FMPG3S from had some police trade in HK91`s with (drumroll please) Retractable stocks! I figured now was the time to trade and get a real HK91.

I really want this one to work out so tell me is there anything special to know about the HK91? Like use on surplus or commercial ammo?  Thanks

Congrats on the 91!!  I hear the 308 will punch your shoulder with the a3 stock.  People say you can't get a good cheek weld or something.  I have NO direct experience w/ one though.  Having said all that, I'm saving my pennies for the very same thing.

Shoot on, brother

A friend of mine just bought a HK93. Awesome rifle, I can't wait to shoot it next time I visit Florida.

tango_down if that`s the case I`ll just have to retract the stock and shoot it Ahnold style!

Great gun, not sure I would want the collapsible stock. It was the only semi automatic firearm I owned for many years and the one gun I would grab is the house was on fire.

G3/HK91 weapon systems are very dependable and very reliable weapons.
You have to admit the retractable stock looks very cool.
Hope you enjoy the pic.

Don't worry about the A3 stock.  I've shot an HK51 on full auto, and other than teeth rattling from the short barrel, I felt no ill effects from it!

Well guys I FINALLY got my HK91! It is waaaaay nicer than the FMPG3S, and Light Years better than that Hexxe POS. I`d like to post a pic but I don`t have a camera for it. But it basically looks like the pic POF-USA posted minus the bipod and carry handle.

BTW I still haven`t figured out how much the bipod and carry handle are going for. Anybody know? Thanks

CDNN has handles for like $40.  I would get a regular A2 stock.  Youll be sorry if you dont!  I have hk91A3 thats NIB and I shoot my SAR3.  I bought another A3 stock so they would match.  Ouchie!  The 93 is not a problem with the A3.

I finally fired my HK91. Holly shit! I was accurate ansd smooth shooting with that gun! I was suprised to find the A3 stock was actually comfortable. Of course it was more comfortable to shoot it with the stock closed!  It cycled perfectly with all the ammo I had even when I shot it with the stock closed.

As a positive comment towards HK91's   I first started out in NRA High Power matches using 91  went from unclassified to Expert in 6 matches (using handloads).. I first got it in '85 and even now after over 13,500rnds it will still hold the 10ring on a SR target at 200yds....
