After the ban sunsets(if it does) will I be able to buy a semi mp5?? If so how much $$$$? Just curious.

The semi HK versions were the HK-94 and the SP-89 from germany. Since there is still a importation ban/classification (seprate from the AW ban) on what can be imported into the states, unless HK starts producing the semi's in the new US factory, your stuck with clones in regards to new rifles.

Just setup an OR or ID corp and keep the gun there. Then you can shoot it during a visit to that state. That is what I'm planning on doing....
