After a very long wait from DSA and the ATF I finally have my first FAL. It's a DSA OSW with 11" barrel. I will take it out this weekend and see how it shoots. I'm undecided if it will keep the Nightforce or wear an Aimpont. I got a 7.62 SDN for it also.
Here's the pictures- they aren't the greatest quality as the weather sucks here right now.
With suppressor-

I think the word awesome is overused, however, that set up is AWESOME!

Huh...they're still putting vertical take down levers on them.
IAC, if it runs, it runs. Have fun with it.

That is a great setup, I am looking to build or buy a similar sbr fal. Can't wait for the range report.

Great looking setup! Are you looking to have a suppressed DMR type set-up or something for close work? Maybe a reflex sight may be an option? Let us know how it shoots!!!

It's going to be awesomely loud. Without the suppressor.
I can remember grown men who were shooting M1's and M1A's moving down the range from my son when he was shooting his 16" FAL at one of the early Appleseeds (2006). It dug holes in the grass/dirt in front of the shooting mat and then burnt the holes black.
You'll love it.

Very nice setup man. I wouldn't mind getting one of those myself. I'm curious how well the suppressor is going to hold up on such a short barrel. I know AAC said the 762sdn6 is rated for .308 as short as 12.5" barrels.

Only thing I don't like about it is the stock which I'm going to change for an adjustable one. I put a TR24 Trijicon on my 18 inch DSA Para FAL. I also have the same AAC Can for it. Have a larger safety lever and changed out the trigger spring.
