Hi all, long time lurker here. I've used this site many times over the years for information and research, but finally had the need to post.
I have been talking with one of the co-owners of Battlecomp about making their BABC for the FAL. If you are not familiar with the Battlecomp line of compensators, they offer a combination of flash suppression and muzzle control, with only a slight increase in noise. I was skeptical until I tried one on my AR and now I swear by them. They already make a .308 version for AR's and M1A's (pictured below). Their site is here if you want to look: http://battlecomp.com/ http://battlecomp.com/includes/templates/premium8a/images/slide3.jpg The co-owner said he had contacted DSA about an FAL specific (due to the LH thread) in the past, but they had not committed to purchasing a sufficient quantity to justify a run. I have a tactical FAL that is begging for one, and I am willing to bet I am not the only person out there. I put together a short 2 question survey to judge demand for such an item. I would really appreciate it if you could take a few seconds and complete the survey. I will let it run for a few weeks and then give the results the Battlecomp. Survey can be found here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RV75CSG Thanks for your time, Matt |

I saw a video where PWS beat out Battlecomp on an short barrel AR. Its cheaper too by about $50. They make a comp for the FAL and AK also, but haven't found any tests on it. Beat in what way? Recoil reduction is basically a given, as the BC, IIRC, isn't intended to be a pure brake, but a device that brakes some without overly increasing flash or concussion. |

I have no financial interest in any of these products. I don't own any of these products. |
