| after much searching, I finally bought my first FAL, from a good friend who is an LEO. He has had the gun in his safe for years, he bought it when he first got into law enforcement, but right after he bought it, he took a chief's position and was able to purchase 3 full auto Fals for the department, so the gun was a safe queen, he guessed less than 100 rounds through the gun. Only problem is that I only got one magazine from hm, rest of them had gone to departmental use. After reading about the shape surplus magazines are nowadays, does anyone know where new FAL magazines can be located, I saw AIM mentioned, but they were out of stock, DS Arms only has five and ten round ones in stock. Are there any other sources to find them? I don't have a problem with buying new if this is my best bet, but unsure of where to find them. I figured if DS Arms builds guns still, they would have them but no luck. |

Yes RRA's LAR-8 takes FAL mags, metric or inch. Be aware though, last I checked they were out of metric.
Also early production LAR-8's, some metric mags fit very tight in the mag well. I tried my FAL metric mags in my LAR-8 and out of 15 mags I had four that were tight. |

Any Information forthcoming on the 20 & 25 rounders? Those of us that pre-ordered two years ago are we still first in line as I ordered 25 and 30's ? I do not see any of the new USA made magazines at the DSA website?
