Thanks, but I knew where to get it. It's just having the money to afford it that's the problem. |

I finally got to shoot it yesterday. I put about 20 rounds (all I had) of .308 Winchester White Box through it. Couple of issues extracting but no misfires/FTF. Things I learned: Need to learn to sight in rifles and to adjust the gas system. Sights: http://www.falfiles.com/forums/printthread.php?s=559af51164f779cf9b023f0fa86bec0f&threadid=223034 Gas: http://www.falfiles.com/gas.html |

Where did you get it, how much and what's it built on? Traded a guy on falfiles a bushmaster upper, a bcg, ch, and 150 round of 5.56 for it. It's an Enterprise reciever and the manual says STG58 Sorry to tell you that it doesn't look to have much if any STG parts. Your mag catch is Isreali. Does your lower have SRA markings or SED? SED is STG. STG's have: Stoll Flash suppressor SED lower 3 round count holes in back of magazine Bipod cut barrel Steel hand guards. usually have a QD gas plug short carry handle straight comb(NON humpback) stock. |

I don't understand any of that, and the mag release is not original to the rifle, I had to install one because the rifle was originally sold in Kalifornia SRA meaning where the selector is; ie. safe, repeating, automatic. I'm guessing SED would denote the original austrian lower? My BGS german lower has funky markings, but is the correct profile for the T48. Time for some jb weld, the dremel, and some alumahyde.
