What's out there for muzzle devices for the barrels that had the threads cutoff (by Century I think)??

Anything that can be clamped, brazed, tacked on?

Only option to thread this bad boy or what?

Thanks in advance!

My AWB-era build was cut to 18", I had ADCO thread it 5/8"-24RH (the same as a .308 AR):

Threading is the way to go IMO.  ADCO can thread LH now, too.

+1 on having threads re-cut.  Now that the ban is over(unless you live in a state that kept the '94 ban rules in effect, like NY)there is no reason to solder or weld a muzzle device on a FAL when you can have threads done inexpensively.  My Israeli doesn't have threads but the early ones had the same barrel profile as the older FN guns; with no muzzle threads, long gas system, lugged barrel for bayonet or grenade launcher.
