Finally my FAL Receiver from DSA has arrived at my FFL. .

Whats the build gonna be? I've had an Imbel kit in the closet for several years. I think I paid $99 bucks for it way back when. I wish I could say that about the Receiver! I just am completing my first FAL build, except I got a DCI Receiver. The builld was IMBEL kit in great shape; not pittng in the barrel and looked liked it was hardly shot. I felt it was one step up from building a AR; pretty damn easy with the right tools. Bead blasted the rifle, installed the barrel (after a little sanding of the receiver face and barrel shoulder), and put my first layer of Duracoat on the rifle (also pretty easy with the right equipment) All I have left is to get my new Locking Shoulder and Headspace. Can't wait to shoot it!!

These kinds of builds are way outside of my capability. Fortunately I picked up a Stg58 kit on an Imbel receiver a while back in a trade... still haven't shot it yet.  You guys with all the tools and skills to do these things make me jealous! I'd love to build a CETME one day, but I think that's even more wicked beast...
