Was looking around at the DSA railed handguard, nice, but expensive. Then I looked at the UTG one, looks a bit bulky. Suddenly, I stumbled onto the Kings Arms RIS full length handguard. Looks just like the one from DSA, and made of metal, not plastic.
So, just wondering if anyone has tried one of these yet on a real FAL. I haven't found any info yet to see if it will actually fit, since I don't know the dimensions of the airsoft rifle. And, it's about $100 less than the DSA! |

I haven't seen this particular one - but I did see a KING ARMS copy of the Knights Armament rail for the M-14.
the King Arms crap was super soft aluminum alloy. One could take a knife to it and literally shave it down by whittling on it. My opinion is to spend the extra $100 for QUALITY purpose intended product. Spend the money - buy it once. Or save the money initially and spend it over and over again. Airsoft stuff has two uses: on airsoft toys and in display cabinets. ~Will |

I got one to try out. It looks good and shipping from Hong Kong was only three days.
Now for a clinical evauation: It's soft. Two of the screws holding the upper to the lower halves have striped already. I had to shim the breach end of the handguard to get the play out. I'm waiting for it to break! It's mounted on a para and all I've got mounted on it is a fore grip. I don't shoot this one much and it's not my go to gun. Save your pennies and get the DSA. |
