I have never owned a FAL befor and have aquired one in a trade. It was one of the rifles on the top of my list. It did how ever come from century and I am wondering if these rifles are plagued with problems as some of the other century rifles such as the Golani have been. Or if there is anything particular I should look for when the rifle arrives. My second question as do these things screw up brass, befor I take it to the range and destroy my good reloading brass. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a century one. It runs just fine. Its a little rough on brass but its one of my favorite guns, if only 308 wasn't expensive. So by rough are we talking still able to reload or total screwing as in no way, no how. Do you think it would be possible to build a pad of sorts to keep from destroying brass. I ask because my PSL tore into brass too, but with some adjusting of load and pading this has been resolved. Why am picking everyones brain, how is the accuracy on these things, I am really kind of excited to finally get one. |
