| What's the best way to install and time one without a receiver or barrel block? |
| Clamp the gas block into a padded vise to keep from marring the block. Using an open-end wrench on the device flats, tighten. I had to file down a spare wrench because all my wrenches were too thick from side to side to slide onto the flats. Also had to file the jaws to size because I didn't have a spare wrench in the correct size. Also note that you might need timing washers to get the device to time correctly on the barrel with the little bayo notch pointing downward at bottom dead center. |
