hey guys - i just got a new fal with the versa pod and have a question about the bipod. i know the bipod is supposed to pan and tilt - but it just seems really loose. anyways - just wondering if this is normal for the versa pod. i have a harris on my ar - and it seems to be a lot tighter. anyways here is a pic of the bipod. i am hoping that when i get a chance to take it to the range - it will feel a bit firmer when i lean into the rifle a bit.

Yep, they are a loose fit. I've used them on several different guns. Not as strong as the Harris, but it does come off which is a nice advantage. I wished they had a flashlight adapter for the mount...which they don't according to the response I got from them.

My harris mounts to a sling stud, installs & removes in seconds with no tools.

Some are really loose. The Versa-Pod I have has a knob on the right side to finger tighten the pan and tilt.
