I picked up a set of these from DSA. I am having an interesting time getting them on my rifle however. For the life of me I cant seem to get them alligned propery to the scope mount or the barrel. They sit on the barrel at a slight angle and slightly lower than the scope mount. I followed the direction completely and have taken them on and off several time now. Do I need to add washers to the screw near the gas block? Here is the handguard I am talking about Does anyone have any ideas? |

i too had a bitch of a time getting them on. i had to bend the gas end, just to fit it over the rifle. then after that, the screw was too short to fit through. i had to clamp it down to get the screw through. but everything did work and is now in place. but it was a bitch.

Yes it is a DSA scope mount as well. I really like the way it looks and I need the rails to mount a few goodies on. I guess I will call DSA and try tweaking it some and see if I can get this to work out better. I need to take pics and get them up here. I never seem to use my dig cam
