Bought a 1200 round batch not long ago. It's the 74 and 75 headstamped stuff so it's alright. Not overly accurate, 3-5" groups at 100 with a scoped FAL compared to 1" or less with South African ammo out of the same rifle on the same day. It does function and will put lead down range, its only selling point. DO NOT BUY the 80's and 90's Indian, bad stuff from what I've read. My cost was $360 for the 1200 rounds.

Gander mountain used to have indian in 400rd cans for $79.   SA was selling for $210 a case at the time so I never bought any.

70s era Indian is decent ammo. Reliable is it's best attribute. That and the brass is reloadable. Not particularly accurate, but if you are shooting milk jugs out to 200 yrds
or maybe poppers or man size sillouettes out to 400 yards or so, it is just fine.

When I first bought my FAL I actually bought 680 rounds of Indian for $99--Of course that was back in April of 05.

A few weeks ago at Whittakers in Owensboro, KY I picked up 400 rounds for $110+Tax.  Some may snicker but Indian is pretty much all I have shot through my FAL.  Keep in mind I use this gun pretty much for fun and plinking so I am not looking for 1" groups at 2 billion yards.  The '75 Headstamps are fine and I have never seen the least bit of corrosion.
