| Okay, I know there is a blind pin and you have to unscrew the nut in the rear as well as the gas adj nut/spring, anything else? Its been a long time since I removed one. This is an imbel kit and I have a feeling its rusted in there. |

Ah ha. It's an Imbel.....it probably got painted on. (I read that on the Falfiles--common problem) Try hitting it with some Kroil--let it soak overnight, and try what Blacklisted said with the vent holes. I've got a thin punch that I use for this--it has a handle and I can get more torque. No matter how much you want to, don't use the vise grips unless you have a replacement tube! If the Kroil doesn't work, you might try heating up the gas block with a torch while turning. |
