has anyone ever had a failure to feed on their fal.  i have a metric fal built on a century reciever.  it is my first magazine fed rifle (also have an 8mm mauser) and i love it.  I am having a problem and i quite know how to fix it.  i am definately new to my rifle i have probably only put 5 mags thru the barrell. what is happening is after around 10 rounds i will start to have a failure to feed.  the round gets wedged with the tip catching the side of the mag and the round becoming jammed in the chamber.  what i am hypothesising is my magazines springs are not strong enough to push out the remaining rounds properly after the tension is released from the first ten.  i am looking for new mags to replace the five i currently have.  would this be a correct assumption.  please correct me if i have misnamed parts or made myself look like a fool.
thanks

Yes; you are correct you need new mag springs. I would buy new springs from Wolff instead of all new mags.

The problem that you described can also be caused by too little gas going to the piston. Close the gas a click or two and shoot it again.
I have had this failure before and adding a bit more gas solved it.
It could also be weak mag springs. My idea will cost nothing other than a few rounds of ammo to try.

What they said....check your gas setting (lower # means more gas to drive the system), and get some new mag springs.  You can try Wolff or get them from DSA for $1-$2 each.
