For those of you in the know... What can I reasonably expect to pay for a new DSA SA58STD or SA58C? A lot of folks w/ FFLs that I contacted are offering to do the transfer, but said I'd have to contact DSA to make the purchase. Lemme get this right, if I order it myself, I'll be paying full MSRP? It's been my understanding from past purchases of firearms in general, a dealer ordering a firearm can generally do better that full MSRP. I'm I missing something here? |
Not quite sure how you missed it but..... www.dsarms.com/catalog-list.cfm?Category=01&Subcat=SA58%20Original%20Series&storeid=1 Oh, and while you're at it... www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976311834.htm |
I bought an SA58 from them a few years ago, and aside from a few minor inconveniences, the deal went fine. Just one guy, just one purchase, for what that's worth. |

You could also try Atlantic Firearms. Atlantic Firearms When I inquired about a JLD he stated he gave $25.00 off list price for AR15.com members. I don't know if that is for all members or just team members though. Good Luck Rick |
I guess you didn't click on my links... |
I did look at your links but I think the rifles being sold on Gunsamerica are the STG58's using some used parts from kits, the SA58's are 100% all new. |
On second glance you may be right. I thought I searched for "SA58" but evidently I searched for "DSA". Oh well, it gives me hope that I can get over $1k for my used SA58 carbine when I sell it soon. |
as posted by hapjack:
I'll take this to mean that I should be prepared to pay MSRP from DSA. Thanks for the info hapjack; oh, and in_burrito, thanks for your input also... |
