Hi all,

I've heard that recent DSA 58s have a few issues and the customer service level has gone down. Any truth to this?

Not that I am aware of.  If you are thinking of a DSA fal get it and you will be pleased with it.  The only fal better IMHO is one built by Rich@GCW, Mark@ARS, or Derek@AZEX.

They make the best FALs ever!

They also stand behind their product. I've had some problems true, but they always come through. It can take a while sometimes, but that is because they are swamped.

Customer service is like Russian roulette.

I've bought several items from them on several different occasions.

Sometimes you get people that really seem to appreciate the fact that you are trying to spend your hard earned money with them, but every once in a while, you will get a bitch on wheels!

My last experience was great, but I have literally been run off when trying to spend money with them...

...and I'm easy to get along with.

I had a DSA stg-58 made with the short barrel and deleted the bipod on the build. The bipod should have been in the box, it was not. When I called they apoligized, call my ffl to confirm a street address and priority mailed it out the same day. While others may make as good a rifle (Ohio Rapid Fire may need to be on the list above as well), I am not sure anyone is making a better one.

PS The rifle( iron sights) shoots 2.5 @100 with port surpus all day long.
