I would never dare do such an atrocity as speak ill on the EMC....plus If  I did, I would know at any moment a cpl. of IR laser beams could be sizing me up.  I wonder who the operator of those IR beams would be

Here are some crappy pics of the new "costa" upper built by the gun gallery.
BCM 11.5" upper/bolt carrier, KAC URX rail, KAC rear 600 buis, Aimpoint Micro in larue mount, Battlecomp, Bushmaster SBR lower, Magpul ASAP, CTR, MIAD, ambi safety, KNS pins, Tango down shorty.  Just need a Surefire mini scout and she will be done.  She shoots good too!

Here is my SR-15 with how the SBR used to look.

Dude you are killing me......great pics, I like Jboy's new style of not only posting great guns but great pics

So pardon my ignorance but if I had that complete badass setup, I might not ever take the KAC can off it......any reason why you go naked sometimes?

eta...damn, still drooling and I might actual want that more than the .308.....that just looks like magic for what I want to do with a AR!!!  Sorry also a few more still shots of it would be fantastic and much appreciated.  How did you do at the match as well?

CaptShiess, how do you like the battle comp? I've been thinking about one for my OBR. Then again, if it compares well to the TTB, I might have to pick one up for my BCM 14.5, too! If only they had the slot for the suppressor

I'm digging the LT/KAC combo! Probably my two favorite companies wrapped into one rifle. Not to mention that group! If I could EVER shoot that well... I don't know what I'd do!

Blast picture thread! I'll have to wait until tomorrow when brown Santa drops off the box from GunGallery!

I actually shot the first 4 stages without the can and as the day progressed, guys in my group we really digging the SBR but, I could here few comments here and there about the concussion coming from the TTB so, to throw a little spice in the match, I threw the can on and that was the end of that ..A few of the guys from Gun Gallery also shot and those guys are pretty damn good..If I were to guess, I'm pretty confident I placed in the upper half of all the shooters but, scores haven't been posted yet...

I'll have to agree.  That thing is pure sex!!  One of the most beautifully executed SBRs I've ever seen.  Congrats!

Sounds like a ton of fun

Whats the dissadvantage to running your can 24/7?   I understand weight and balance to some degree as well as the wear and tear on the can but whenever I finally get one...it might be staying on the end for quite some time to say the least.  I love that damn gun  How many stoppages you had all together on that build, I imagine less than can be counted on one hand.

There are probably no dissadvantages and I do have a rifle that is a dedicated suppressed set up, I just like running this one both ways I guess (let's me pimp the TTB )..The LMT has an estimated round count now between 3400-3500 rounds and I have not experienced a stoppage to date..BTW, I didn't snap the photos they are courtesy of new-arguy..

That sucks to have a gun go 3400k outta the box and not one hiccup.....I was going to run a M42k or M4/SPR but now it will be a QDSS-NT4 no doubt.  Besides my thingy with the mono's, I am enjoying this KAC stuff so much that Id be a fool not to try out their can before the AAC.  The can is at least a yr. away though

Thanks pal, I have been busy with this lil woodburning gun

Are you running your micro sights and t-1 w. absolute or lower 1/3rd cowit?  That micro 300m is trick i tell you...I would have thought I would like the new micro fronts better but that micro 300m is like a nat on the rail.

I love it!  It is an excellent investment IMO.  Here is a video I did so you can see it in action.  It was on my old 10.5" RRA upper that has most recently been replaced with the BCM/URX 11.5.

Nice!! That sounds like a sweet lineup! I've been eying a Benelli M4 SBS for some time now. Just too low on the priority list.

As for the EMC, just continued hiccup free operation.
Can't wait for you to get yours either!

Took the EMC to the range today and ran about 80 rounds through it. After shooting 3 rounds at 25 yards to get on paper, then another 3 rounds at 50 yards, I moved to the 100 yard. 5 more shots to to get it to zero and then, this was the next 5 shots using Black Hills 168gr BTHP. All I can say is that this rifle is amazing and it shot as good as some of the bolt actions I've shot in the past. Even using some Federal 150gr FMJ XM762D, I was able to keep all the rounds touching. I only had 10 rounds of the Black Hills and I was on limited time today so I couldn't shoot for as long as I wanted to. Today was more of a feeler session cause I was excited to finally get the rifle in hand. I did some off hand shooting as I was able to keep it all in the 8" Shoot-n-see at 100 yards consistantly..I'm in the process of building up the funds to get more of the high octane ammo and hopefully that will be sooner than later cause this rifle deserves the good stuff. Not one malfunction to report and I foresee the EMC knocking the SR15 from the top spot of my favorite rifles.

1st 5 shot group with BH 168gr

2nd 5 shot group with BH 168gr after some adjustments. It's really hard for me to even believe that this is 5 shots and at one point I was wondering if I was completely off the target. I know that 10 shot groups are more indicative of what a rifle is capable of and I had all intentions of using the only 10 rounds of BH to do that but, I wanted 2 seperate groups for my personal analysis of the rifles capabilities. In my opinion, it lived up to the task..
