| I've actually got the grip done someplace, I filed the bump off a chopped down A2 and then machined a delrin insert (which I then bolted a QD socket in to). Once I find it I'm going to slap that on. The stock is the long pole in the tent now, that and actually making the Form 1 can. |

 Dug out my ECC from the back of the safe to repurpose my Leupold CQBSS back onto my Mod 1 Dimpled Carbine to shoot some local SPRish matches and totally forgot that there was this etching on the inside of the dust cover on the SR25. I originally had bought an EMC with the welded dust cover and being a Southpaw, I was getting hit with brass directly while shooting so sent the rifle back to KAC to swap the upper receiver and while there, they kindly also upgraded the rail to the URX 3.1. I now just call it an ECC although it still has the 1/11.25 twist barrel whereas the ECC's changed to the 1/10 twist if memory serves me correctly. Sorry for the long winded rant but just would like to know how were the ECC's released with this etched dust cover and if so, any rough idea how many? I just do not recall seeing too many of these from all the pics. |

This combo has fast become my favorite. I didn't know how much I'd like the MCQ with the 11.5", but I'll tell you what, it's just about perfect in my opinion. Takes some bark off, keeps the gun light and wieldy, and still gets rid of all noticable blowback. My original MOD2 2 CQB with KAC Aimpoint Mount is the perfect height for me when not weaing a helmet or using NV. When I just want to go out and blast with reckless abandon, this is what I grab.
