Haha let me just say this, I stopped caring about being clone correct a while ago ever since my friends in 2nd Raider ditched their issued optics and ran their personal stuffs on deployments.

So yes, this Schmidt could possibly been used in the wild but being the nature of the types of operation that the guys that run these guns are on there are no pictures of them or are there, I can't confirmed or denied ?

Gotcha man. I have the 3-18 Mark 6 on mine currently which is correct I just have been teetering on the idea of upgrading it a little more. Never tried S&B before but the 4-16 ATACR sound's nice as well.

The Mk6 is decent. My buddy actually took the issued Mk6 off his K1 and ran a personal optic on his most recent deployment to Africa. The ATACR is better especially if you get the H59 or T3 reticle; I will be running that on a spare trade-in EMC that's been sitting in the safe. Schmidt 3-20 Ultra Short with T3 reticle is phenomenal and is probably the best optic that I've used.

. I plan to go with the Tremor 3, it's a great reticle which I have on another NF scope currently. S&B is one brand I've never really got to try out but I hear great things if I can get behind one I could decide, still have to decide on a scope for when I finish up the MK13 build I'm working on. PS if your ever down in NC with J and Clay again hit me up!

Do USMC SS Mod7. The ATACR 5-25 with T3 reticle that's being issued with the rifle is very nice! I'm running that same optic on my M110 SASS (:

I remember being one of the few to have a MK11/SR25 around here. Bought pre 911, then they became unobtainium. Now they seem to be everywhere, which is great! Would love to score one of the 16" versions someday.

How much LOP does the adj A2 add over a standard A2?

What does it weigh?

Do they exist in basic black?

All -- as this thread was designed to discuss the MK11's(110's) out there I hope that this post is OK with you all....

I have a "bring back" MK11 kit that KAC/Mr Knight sold a few of some years back.  Health issues have me thinning my herd of guns so family is not left to do it all.  Kit includes "used" mil Pelican case; MK11 MOD0; custom 16" battle rifle upper made by KAC especially for me with SS barrel and custom qdssnt4 suppressor in 30 cal; mags; spare parts kit...

If of any interest to any of you please email me and I can send some pics and discuss of topic.

Thanks for considering,

KJO

I would take it out for special occasions, definitely!
Would be sweet to enjoy the hunt and source a period correct optic for it.

On a side note, this upper/rail is what I wanted to drop for the SR25 X-Mas Cheer rifle.

Nice!

Someone needs to explain the gas block timeline lol. When did KAC used the no-rail version, the half-bottom rail one, and the full top and bottom rail gas block on these, K/BR/Mk11 Carbine guns? I'm a little confused

I originally noticed that as well, I believe the one in the image above is the predecessor

ETA: According to Kevin, your BR was built in 2009 which was the same year when the MK11 Carbine and MK11 Mod 1’s were first commercially released. Same gas block as yours

Very similar set up to what Shrek carried (his is a 14.5" BR with a CAR stock)
