Guys does anyone here have an IDF M14 from Springfield Armory?

What is the story behind them? How do you like them?  Trying to locate one?

Thanks,
Max

Ok, that's the first I have ever heard of one. After looking at an old 2010 thread on them. . . HOLY SHIT I WANT ONE!

Wow that is cool.
I like the Star Of David on the heel.
I wonder if any of those would make it back (obviously some have) stateside and would that go to the CMP?

Going straight from memory, the kits came back to SAI, and SAI put their receivers on them. No CMP involvement at all. I always wanted one of those kits, just not the price tag that came with it. I wanted to say they were the most expensive rifle they listed. Pretty sure the collectors have them all in the back of their safes with no intention of putting them up for sale.

If true that sucks.  Looks like a great rifle.

For that price they can keep it.

People always get their hopes up that the CMP will sell M14 rifles, but I have no faith that will ever happen.

They have sold a good selection of M14 parts in the past, but they went quick.

I had a Nimrod scope and mount and it worked well.  Sold it on GB for crazy $

That is one I should have kept. I picked one up when they first started selling them 1999, I saw an add for them in a gun mag and had my local dealer order me one. I think I paid around $1875 for it new. It was cool with the case and everything. I think they planned on 250 units but it ended up being less. Mine was #006, I sold it because I was young and needed money. I was able to get groups around 1" at 200 yards with surplus when I would take it out.
